In episode 29, I interview Dr. Robert Joseph of Team Mindshift, An Innovative Training and Technology Solutions Company. In the discussion, we drill down into why virtual employees need to change the way they learn and what they learn. Dr. Joseph believes that the biggest impediment to adult learning in this modern age is emotion. Fear, Frustration, and Self-Doubt do not make a good environment for learning. All is not lost though because how you feel about something is a choice in which you can have power over. To that end, Dr. Joseph proposes that company invest in EL³G (Emotion, Learning to Learn How to Learn, Generalization) to help employees "learn-how-to-learn."
