In part two of our bumper Super Fan pod we continue our discussion with a passionate panel of dedicated #womenshoops fans for a real talk and insight into the hearts and minds of super fans and their view of professional women's basketball in Australia.
In this episode we look at the visibility of the game in it’s coverage by mainstream and alternative media, the quality of fan engagement amid growing professionalism, value for money, merchandise pro’s and con’s, what we love and what needs more work.
We are grateful to our amazing fan panel, Claire Nimmo from Victoria, Lily Pedvin from Canberra and Nick Walker from Sydney, and hope this opens conversations for fans and clubs to benefit the future of the game.
Enjoy Part Two!
In Series 3 Episode 69 we featured Justin Nelson, Head of Commercial & Events at Sky Sport, who brilliantly conveyed the value of the fan and how vital their inclusion is in the evolution of the sport.
