But in the months prior, he actually lived in a house on the water's edge in the town of Beaufort where he took a wife, and murdered her. Rumors now surround the 300 year old house where apparitions are commonly encountered. Is it the ghost of Blackbeard, his murdered wife, or something within a 300 year time span haunting the house. And is there buried treasure nearby?
