Trace rejoins Josiah in this episode to continue the deep interlinear analysis of Genesis 2 and explore fringe ideas/interpretations of the text. We explore supposed contradictions, and implications of verses to the state of the world. The “misogynistic” interpretation of the Hebrew word for “rib” is also explored. Trace proves his superiority as the resident dinosaur nerd at the conclusion for our “creature fact” of the episode.

We quoted from the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible for the first half of this chapter, published by Zondervan as available on biblegateway.com. The NIV is a widely-used modern English translation. For more information or to obtain a copy of the NIV Bible, visit the publisher's website or your preferred bookstore.

Scripture quotations are also from The ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers as available on biblegateway.com. Used by permission. All rights reserved.

In this episode, we also referenced the Strong's Interlinear Bible tool available on BibleHub for our analysis of specific Hebrew words. The Strong's Interlinear Bible is a valuable resource for studying original language meanings in the Bible. To access this tool and explore more, visit BibleHub: biblehub.com.
