Mindfulness is a deliberate intention to pay attention to the present moment without judgement. The mind has a tendency to wave us away from what is happening right now. We end up focusing on the past or the future which causes anxiety, worry and depression. We think we have no time, so we end up doing too much and going into overwhelm yet the mind can only do one thing at a time.
With mindfulness practice, you will get to know yourself better and over time, you will be able to align to what is happening right now - become a master of your mind and not the other way round. You will learn to align to your true self, thoughts, to your body, feelings, values, goals, to a conversation or anything else you're doing.
