Sitting down with Gabrielle and discussing her experiences thus far within the Ballet Industry reminded me of how important your friends are within this world. Navigating her way through the ups and downs, injury, being a representative of the American Guild of Musical Artists and finding the balance was a conversation that I am truly grateful to have shared with her. Gabrielle has been a powerhouse of positive influence and humor in my life. We joined Ballet West the same season and I don't think I could be the person I am today without her. Gabrielle sheds light on her experiences at Juilliard and the pros and cons of attending a performing arts conservatory. Joining Dance Theater of Harlem and later realizing she still had some classical dreams she wanted to accomplish. Gabrielle is an amazing writer for Interview En L'air run by Armando Braswell, she has many articles discussing dance history, repertoire, and getting through the tough moments during a season.
