Detecting and preventing abuse is not as black and white as we would like. A lot of commentary is happening for what police should have done better to protect Gabby Petito from Brian Laundrie. In this episode we talk about what others can do to help people in distress instead of only relying on police. Police are definitely an important and necessary component for safety but they cannot be the only possible solution.
