I have been broadcasting this show since January 1st using StreamYard. When I stated live streaming in 2017 I was using Be.Live. Of course the past year has seen a huge explosion in remote speaking with Zoom leading the way. When will we see a return to face to face meetings? That is not clear, and more and more organisations are beginning to see the real benefits of remote speaking, so I think that we will never return to the meetings industry as it was before 2020.

What that means is that we are all going to need to add remote speaking to our skill set, no matter what your job is. In the future a significant proportion of all meetings will be online and therefore you will need to come across professionally as a participant, as a host, or as a speaker.

So tonight I am going to start talking about speaking online - I say start, because this is going to be a ongoing process. I am watching videos experimenting with virtual tools almost daily at the moment and I know I still have so much to learn. One of my favourite inspirational writers is Richard Bach's who says, You teach best what you most need to Learn".
