Most people are very worried about their relationships with others and will put themselves in terrible predicaments and situations for love relationships, friendships, etc. That mindset keeps people focused on trying to please and appease others while their inner suffering continues. You can't be the best you can be for anyone (regardless of who it is), when you're not the best you can be for yourself!
