It is a pleasure to welcome escapologist and daredevil Jonathan Goodwin to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has been hanged, buried alive, and burned at the stake. He also suspended by his toes from helicopters, was covered in 200,000 bees, and was attacked by rattlesnakes and sharks. His stunts have been featured on countless television programs, including Dirty Tricks, Cheating the Gallows, Deathwish Live, and Dangerman: The Incredible Mr. Goodwin. He also toured with the Illusionists, a supergroup of magicians.

In 2019, Jonathan Goodwin stepped entered the Got Talent franchise when he auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent: Series 13 and terrified judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams with his stunts. He impressed the British public with his performances that they voted him into the Series 13 finals.

This year, Jonathan auditioned online for America’s Got Talent’s fifteenth anniversary season. He impressed Simon, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara. However, he had to prove himself during the Season 15 Judges Cuts, and after performing another death-defying stunt, the judges voted him through to the Season 15 live shows.

During the Universal Studios Hollywood live rounds, Jonathan soared as he performed two death-defying stunts in the Season 15 quarterfinals and semifinals that surprised and stunned the audience. Sadly, he was eliminated right before the Season 15 finale.
