Fear of the Truth. That's why we play The Game in our addictions and our recovery. The Game is when we present lies to those asking us how we are doing. How is your day? How are you Feeling? If you think your family or friends don't SEE what is happening...if you don't think your friend who is a recovering addict can't see your struggle...and you think saying what you think they want to hear is going to make it easier? You are wrong. If I didn't take that one time to say; "I'm done with life" to my sister, I wouldn't be here to talk to you about this. The Game needs to end so that we can Heal!
