-Increasing life-span is good, but you really want to improve your health-span (the number of years you are healthy)
-Cycle imbalances may be caused by thyroid hormones, weight changes, and/or insulin resistance
-Insulin resistance means you have higher levels of insulin and your body isn’t using insulin optimally. This can result in things like poor metabolism, inflammation, or PCOS
-Women in perimenopause may benefit from testosterone supplementation
-If you need hormone replacement, consider working with a practitioner who offers bio-identical hormones
-If your doctor doesn’t like you questioning them, that can be a big red flag to find a new doctor
