As Prof. Belmont says, we have not valued water. This week, a group of students presented their appeal for the Lake at a legislative meeting. Asked about information at school, they reported none, that their peers are quite unaware of the Lake conditions and pending consequences that will dramatically affect their lives.

This is excellent, if greatly saddening and alarming news, especially for folks in my neighborhood just south of the GSL and first-in-line in the path of winds off the exposed lake shores.
