Hello Scott and LaRae! I enjoy listening to your podcast very much! Thank you for creating it. I sit here and I wonder what would it be like to be in a relationship where I/one could talk to a spouse about the things you talk about! I’m not in such marriage, yet for what I do have I try to be grateful. “Sometimes a wild God” would have been a perplexing poem for me had I not taken the time to listen to your commentary! I have to confess I paused the podcast and clicked on your link that connected me to author reading the poem. That was a good experience, to listen to him. Anyhow, what I wanted to say is that I got it! I identified what the Bear in me was/ is, as well as the importance of letting it sleep by the fire. It was mi divorce that later led to my younger children to go live with their dad because I got married again, which later led to my younger’s son suicide, which I felt I caused. Life is hard, the lessons are hard. I wanted to say that sometimes I am the bear and sometimes I am the wild god. I think I am mostly the wild God and forgetting is part of the problem, yet also was part of the solution. Thanks again for this episode and so many others I have dearly enjoyed. Your voices are very soothing and comforting to me.
