“It Can’t Happen To Me.” We’ve all thought it at some point in our lives. We see something on the news, some terrible tragedy, and think to ourselves: “Not me. That could never happen to me.” Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but it can. Mine wasn’t a news report, though I have thought it then too, but while watching some scary movies, a creature feature. It wasn’t the usual way of thinking the phrase though. I didn’t think such things could happen to me because my life was too boring for such things. I thought I’d never have something, so exciting, happen. Oh, how I wish I could take it all back!
