With a name that translates as « contemporary women », Contemporaines’ mission is to support young women artists and art professionals in a caring way by helping them overcome obstacles linked to historical inequalities in the arts.
During our interview we conversed about what its like to be a young woman in the art world, about what intersectionality means in today’s cultural climate and Flora shared exciting ongoing projects such as Contemporaines' new mentorship program: Passerelles.
