Unfortunately, the Flyers 5-game point streak was snapped last night in a 3-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. This has been the best stretch of hockey played by the Flyers so far in the early portion of the season. The Flyers strong play and effort have landed them in some close games getting some positive results. The fortunate thing is defensemen Cam York and Jamie Drysdale are expected back sooner rather than later. Sam Errson has been placed on IR for a nagging groin issue, he will miss about a week. Last night, Egor Zamula left the ice early in the 3rd period after a hit from Nathan Makinnon and never returned.
