show moreWhy does every Berlin hipster and their dog seem to be drinking Natural Wine right now… and honestly, what the f**k is it anyway? These were questions, among many, that URSA foodie Will Maidment, his fans, and Julia, had for this month’s episode. So we brought in an expert: Emidio, a sommelier and the co-founder of the Berlin and Munich-based natural wine supplier - Forever Thirsty. Will and Julia sat down for an evening with Emidio to sip at some Natty juice and ask the important questions like; is there a military industrial complex of yeast and grapes, can you ferment in any vessel, when did wine stop being natural, are hangovers better or worse with natural wine, and how do I sip but still be sexy?
Wines provided by Forever Thirsty and tasted in the episode:
- Koi “Chi Mera” Emilia Bianco Frizzante IGP
- 2. I CA RO “Nemico” Bianco dei Castelli3.
- Davide Xodo, "Scafo" Veneto IGT Rosso
