On this episode of Football 2 the MAX, Sean Garmer makes an important announcement on his health. After that He, Erik Watkins, and Gary Vaughan discuss the Monday Night Football game on Thursday, between the Tampa Bay Bucs and Jacksonville Jaguars. The starters played at least one half of the game, who stood out? Has Blake Bortles returned to form? Or has Chad Henne made it into a full blown competition? After that game, it certainly seems like the latter.
Then, it's time for the news portion of the episode. The guys discuss the ongoing saga between the NFL and the NFLPA. Do these issues feel like they could carry on into 2021? Or do the two sides compromise before then? It's certainly a difficult issue to tackle.
The trio also discuss more on the players sitting during the national anthem, and what the media can do to make this less of a thing. Ryan Kelly's injury effecting Andrew Luck. T.J. Watt replacing James Harrison and more.
