Génesis 3: Cuidado con tus 5 sentidos

¡Bendiciones! Hoy vamos a continuar con el capítulo donde los primeros seres humanos Adán y Eva cayeron en la trampa de Satanás. No olvides leer los versos restantes. Vamos a leer los primeros versos:

Génesis 3:1-13 RVA2015:
1 Entonces la serpiente, que era el más astuto de todos los animales del campo que el SEÑOR Dios había hecho, dijo a la mujer: —¿De veras Dios les ha dicho: “No coman de ningún árbol del jardín”?
2 La mujer respondió a la serpiente: —Podemos comer del fruto de los árboles del jardín. 3 Pero del fruto del árbol que está en medio del jardín ha dicho Dios: “No coman de él ni lo toquen, no sea que mueran”.
4 Entonces la serpiente dijo a la mujer: —Ciertamente no morirán. 5 Es que Dios sabe que el día que coman de él, los ojos les serán abiertos, y serán como Dios, conociendo el bien y el mal.
6 Entonces la mujer vio que el árbol era bueno para comer, que era atractivo a la vista y que era árbol codiciable para alcanzar sabiduría. Tomó, pues, de su fruto y comió. Y también dio a su marido que estaba con ella, y él comió. 7 Y fueron abiertos los ojos de ambos, y se dieron cuenta de que estaban desnudos. Entonces cosieron hojas de higuera, y se hicieron delantales.
8 Cuando oyeron la voz del SEÑOR Dios que se paseaba por el jardín en la brisa del día, el hombre y su mujer se escondieron de la presencia del SEÑOR Dios entre los árboles del jardín. 9 Pero el SEÑOR Dios llamó al hombre y le preguntó: —¿Dónde estás tú?
10 Él respondió: —Oí tu voz en el jardín y tuve miedo, porque estaba desnudo. Por eso me escondí.
11 Le preguntó Dios: —¿Quién te dijo que estabas desnudo? ¿Acaso has comido del árbol del que te mandé que no comieras?
12 El hombre respondió: —La mujer que me diste por compañera, ella me dio del árbol, y yo comí.
13 Entonces el SEÑOR Dios dijo a la mujer: —¿Por qué has hecho esto?
La mujer dijo: —La serpiente me engañó, y comí.


Esta es la triste historia de la caída del ser humano. Creados a imagen y semejanza de Dios, sabios, habitaban con Dios y hablaban directamente con su Creador permanentemente. Tenían toda autoridad sobre la creación, eran los administradores de las riquezas de Dios, vivían en un mundo perfecto llamado Edén, con capacidad para crear vida y muchas otras cualidades de Dios.
Sin embargo, fueron engañados por Satanás. Creo yo que Satanás les tenía envidia porque ellos estaban en una mejor posición que la que él tenía cuando era un ángel divino y puro.
No sabemos por qué Adán permitió que Eva hablara con la serpiente. Tal vez era un espectador escuchando lo que la serpiente decía, o no estaba al lado de Eva en ese momento. Esposos, cuidemos a nuestras esposas y estemos alerta cuando el enemigo quiera atacar con engaños. Tengamos cuidado con los ataques de Satanás; usualmente, no son ruidosos ni claros. Son sutiles y silenciosos.

Notemos como podemos caer en engaños dejándonos guiar por nuestros sentidos: oído, gusto, vista, olfato y tacto.
Eva escuchó (oído) el argumento falso de que Dios no quería que ellos fueran más sabios de lo que eran. Ella vio que el fruto prohibido era bueno para comer (gusto), agradable a los ojos (vista) y grandioso para obtener mas sabiduría. Eva lo tomó en sus manos (tacto) y comió, y lo dio a Adán, en señal de que había creído que Dios les había mentido y que realmente no iban a morir y que serían sabios al nivel de Dios mismo.

Las consecuencias es que ellos aprendieron el otro lado del conocimiento: el lado malo. Aprendieron las consecuencias de la desobediencia y sufrieron el despojo de sus privilegios: perdieron su hogar, la comodidad de una tierra fructífera, la vida eterna, y se hizo un gran abismo en la relación íntima entre Dios y el ser humano.

Escudriñemos:
Usemos el método PARAFRASEARLO, donde leemos una porción bíblica y después escribimos lo que entendimos con nuestras propias palabras. Así vamos a estar más conscientes de lo que aprendimos al leer o escuchar una Escritura. Pon en práctica este método, lee el verso 4 al 6 y parafraséalo.

Genesis 3: Be careful with your 5 senses

Blessings! Today we are going to continue with the chapter where the first human beings Adam and Eve fell into Satan's trap. Don't forget to read the remaining verses. Let's read the first verses:

Genesis 3:1-13 NLT:
The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”
“Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”
“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.
When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”
He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”
“Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?”
The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.”
Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?”
“The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.”


This is the sad story of the fall of the human being. Created in the image and likeness of God, wises, lived with God and spoke directly with their Creator permanently. They had all authority over creation, they were the administrators of God's riches, they lived in a perfect world called Eden, with the ability to create life and many other qualities of God.
However, they were deceived by Satan. I believe that Satan was envious of them because they were in a better position than he was when he was a pure divine angel.
We don't know why Adam allowed Eve to talk to the serpent. Maybe he was a bystander listening to what the snake was saying, or he wasn't by Eve's side at the time. Husbands, let's take care of our wives and be alert when the enemy wants to attack with deceit. Let's beware of Satan's attacks; usually, they are neither loud nor clear. They are subtle and silent.
Let's notice how we can fall into deception letting ourselves be guided by our senses: hearing, taste, sight, smell and touch.
Eve heard (hearing) the false argument that God did not want them to be wiser than they were. She saw that the forbidden fruit was good to eat (taste), pleasing to the eyes (sight) and great for further wisdom. Eve took it in her hands (touch) and ate it, and gave it to Adam, as a sign that she had believed that God had lied to them and that they were not really going to die and that they would be wise at the level of God Himself.
The consequence is that they learned the other side of knowledge: the bad side. They learned the consequences of disobedience and suffered the dispossession of their privileges: they lost their home, the comfort of a fruitful land, eternal life, and a great abyss was made in the intimate relationship between God and human beings.

Let's scrutinize:
Let's use the method called PARAPHRASE IT, where we read a biblical portion and then write what we understood in our own words. In this way we will be more aware of what we learned when reading or listening to a Scripture. Put this method into practice, read verse 4 to 6 and paraphrase it.
