Black in Sports podcast welcomed Gina Scott on this episode. Gina Scott is the Vice President, Group Licensing / Partner Services at the NFL Players Association. Gina’s journey to stardom begin in the state of Florida (Duval) where her love for sports was founded at the University of Florida. At Florida, she sought and found her community in a sea of 30,000 students and with only 2,000 being minorities. She found her community in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, inc.
As a VP for the NFLPA. Gina gave her thoughts on the power of networking and building relationships. She expressed her relationships with athletes like Fred Taylor, EJ and others have been built and cultivated through the years. Some of her passion works begins with our colleges and universities. Gina mentioned that her education path almost started at HBCU Hampton University. Though it didn’t start there, her work and help supporting HBCUs has only increased throughout the years. How can you help?
