According to her younger sister, a knock on the door around 3 a.m. woke the family. Anthonette answered, believing it was a relative, and was reportedly abducted by unidentified individuals. Her mother, Penny Cayedito, was initially unaware of her disappearance until the following morning. Despite intensive searches and investigations, no concrete leads emerged immediately. A year later, a mysterious phone call to law enforcement, allegedly from Anthonette herself, claimed she was being held against her will, but the call was disconnected before it could be traced.

In the years following her disappearance, various leads and tips surfaced, including eyewitness accounts and a reported sighting of a girl matching Anthonette's description with a couple in Nevada. However, these clues failed to lead to her recovery. The case remains unsolved, and Anthonette is still listed as missing. Her story has become emblematic of the many missing and murdered Indigenous women in the U.S., highlighting systemic challenges in investigating such cases. Despite the passage of decades, her family and community continue to seek answers and justice.












In September 2021, Daniel Robinson, a geologist, went missing in Arizona in June 2021. Here's a summary of the case:

Daniel Robinson, a 24-year-old geologist originally from South Carolina, was reported missing in the Buckeye area of Arizona on June 23, 2021. He was last seen leaving his job site in a white Jeep Renegade, which was later found overturned in the desert on June 24, 2021

.Efforts to locate Daniel Robinson included extensive searches conducted by law enforcement agencies and volunteer groups, as well as his family's tireless advocacy for his safe return. Despite these efforts, his whereabouts remained unknown as of my last update.

35 years ago 9-year-old Anthonette Cayedito answered the door at her home while her mother was asleep, and her sisters were in the other room. She was never seen again.
