Steven Kuhr is Manager of Emergency Management and Continuity at Colorado Springs Utilities. Steven leads an award-winning Emergency Management team responsible for a Comprehensive Crisis Management program which integrates the practices and principles of Emergency Management, Homeland Security, and Operational Continuity for four utility services - Electric, Natural Gas, Water, and Wastewater - for the City of Colorado Springs and communities across the Pikes Peak Region. Steven serves on the board of directors of InfraGard-Denver, he is a founding executive member of the Colorado Critical Infrastructure Alliance, and is an adjunct professor with the College of Security Studies at Colorado Technical University. Steven has a Master of Science in Homeland Security Management from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management Administration from the State University of New York.
