Winterfell, Grande Inverno, è la sede ancestrale di Casa Stark. Enorme castello che si estende su diversi acri di terra non livellata, è stato costruito attraverso diverse epoche, e la Prima Fortezza, così come cripte al di sotto, sembra proprio siano credito della leggendaria figura di Brandon il Costruttore, aiutato da giganti e figli della foresta. In questo episodio andremo ad esplorare il castello e le sue particolarità, dal luogo in cui è stato costruito e perché proprio lì, le sue cripte, l'albero-diga nel parco degli dèi e la sua piscina nera, arrivando fino alle dicerie sul fatto che ci sia un drago dormiente sotto il castello, che con il suo respiro riscalda le fonti d'acqua al di sotto...
