Blame it on the moon, or on the retrograde, or the seasons changing, or just because that's where I am today- but today was one for waterfall tears. Some of which carried over into today's episode of the podcast. They say "heavy hearts like heavy clouds in the sky, are best relieved by the letting of a little water" (Antonie Rivarol); and today was a day some relief needed to come in.

In the end where I got to was a place of real gratitude. It couldn't have come if I wasn't honest about the hard stuff, and feeling the feelings about it all- but through that there is so much that I'm feeling genuinely thankful that is moving in my life.

This really reminded me of what I often think about and speak to around thanksgiving that Gratitude sometimes has to be found first in the more mundane yet real pieces in our life we feel real thankfulness for -and then we can carry that feeling over to the other things, the bigger or more global things and feel real gratitude for those things too.
