In this sermon, we examine some of the issues of our day. The main issue is sin, but just as Adam and Even attempted to cover their own sin with fig leaves, so too does unredeemed man attempt to cover his own. There must be atonement for the sin and guilt of man. For the Christian, we are assured that Christ's Blood has paid the price, made atonement for all our sins. For unredeemed man, scapegoating and false atonements are the ways that he has to alleviate his guilt-ridden conscience.
