New Jersey Assemblyman Ron Dancer is this week's Harness Racing Alumni Show’s guest. The former driver/trainer and the son of the legendary Hall of Fame driver/trainer Stanley Dancer, talks about the recent New Jersey bill that he sponsored and got passed. It requires Standardbred racetracks with sports betting to present at least 151 days of live racing each year. Ron gives much credit for the passing of the new legislation to the New Jersey Standardbred Owners Association. He complements Jeff Gural for trying to rid the sport of cheats and he tells the story of how his famous dad had dinner at the White House with President Lyndon B. Johnson.
