Bg: Николай стоеше на ръба на полето, гледайки залеза.
En: Nikolay stood at the edge of the field, watching the sunset.

Bg: Лъчите на слънцето боядисваха далечните планини в златно-розово.
En: The sun's rays painted the distant mountains in gold and pink.

Bg: Пред него се простираше семейната ферма, която беше оставил преди години.
En: In front of him stretched the family farm he had left years ago.

Bg: Дългите редици от царевица чакаха да бъдат събрани.
En: Long rows of corn waited to be harvested.

Bg: Това бе неговият дом, мястото, където израства.
En: This was his home, the place where he grew up.

Bg: Елена, неговата по-млада сестра, работеше неуморно на полето.
En: Elena, his younger sister, worked tirelessly in the field.

Bg: Тя го погледна от разстояние, без да прекъсне движението на ръцете си.
En: She glanced at him from a distance, without pausing her work.

En: "I don't know," he admitted, "It's hard, but I must."

Bg: " Очите му срещнаха нейните.
En: His eyes met hers.

Bg: В тях нямаше упрек, само разбиране.
En: There was no reproach in them, only understanding.

Bg: "Знам, че не беше лесно за теб," каза тя меко, "но се гордея, че си тук.
En: "I know it wasn't easy for you," she said softly, "but I'm proud you're here."

Bg: "Разговорът с Елена го подкрепи.
En: Her words bolstered him.

Bg: На следващата сутрин Николай беше първи на полето.
En: The next morning, Nikolay was the first in the field.
