Hasan Khomeini is a grandson of Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Hasan Khomeini wanted to run for the upcoming presidential election. The head of state of Iran, Ayatollah (Sign of Allah), rejected his application to run for the presidency. Hasan Khomeini did not welcome the news and began to criticize the electoral system in Iran that the approach toward election is not Islamic and not democratic.
