Phrogging is defined as: "The act of sneaking into a person's home and hiding among it's occupants without their knowledge." While this phenomenon is rare, it is not unheard of. P. Diddy had a phrogger in his home, as did Pamela Anderson in 2001. But the creepiest and most disturbing case is the one of the Campbell family in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In 2019, the Campbells had just moved to Honolulu, when Brittany Campbell started hearing strange noises, such as the front door opening and closing, while she was allegedly home alone. Doors would be unlocked, blankets would be moved and things looked to be rifled through in the garage. James Campbell, her husband, chalked it up to all the changes she had been going through. But it wouldn't be until the family came home from a vacation on the mainland, that they realized the awful truth. Someone was in their home, and had been living there, out of sight, for at least one month.
