Liz Blackman is the founder of Help4Pets, a 24/7, nationwide emergency ID system that works like “911” for your pet. Inspired by her own two dogs, Lita and Winchell, Liz created this lifesaving emergency system in 1996. To give you an idea of just how effective this service is at helping pets, Help4Pets was chosen by the Louisiana SPCA in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to help pets and their families displaced by the disaster. When the SPCA International launched Operation Baghdad Pups to help American soldiers serving in Iraq safely bring home dogs who they had befriended after their tour of duty ended, Help4Pets was the ID system chosen to keep these pets protected during their long and treacherous journey to their forever home in the U.S. http://help4pets.com/
