show moreStarting off with the *NW*, we're looking at some small swell action along the north and east-facing shores. Don't lose hope though, things are looking up as we head into the latter part of the week with some potential for advisory level waves coming in hot! Keep an eye out for those *NE* swells to kick things up a notch.
For you folks in Kauai, tonight's waves are running around 2-4 feet on the north shore. Tomorrow's shaping up to be more of the same, so grab your boards and get ready to hit the water!
Oahu is bringing it with 2-4 feet on the north shore as well. Watch out for those tides, and make sure you catch those *UV* rays as the index is set to be very high!
Over in Maui, we're seeing some smaller waves on the west side but nothing that can't be surfed. The south-facing shores are looking more promising with waves peaking at 2-4 feet. So, get your boards waxed up and ready to roll!
Big Island is looking good too! Windward and Southeast facing shores are presenting some rideable waves around 2-4 feet on the northside, and 3-5 feet on the south. Leeward side is a bit calmer but still worth checking out.
No matter where you are in Hawaii, keep an eye out for rip currents and surf safety. Always make sure to surf near a lifeguard, and stay informed about the beach conditions before hitting the waves!
