God created you for a close personal relationship with him. Your Heavenly Father wants you to hear His Voice and come talk about all things. He understands your every thought before it even enters your mind. And reads your heart like an open book. So talk to Him about everything.
When you move your heart closer and closer to God, you find that He is already touching you and speaking into your innermost being through His Spirit words of encouragement, comfort, guidance, counsel, intercession and standing bag you as your Helper.
Jesus emptied himself of his heavenly glory to be an example of how to listen to your Heavenly Father. He would get quiet to hear His Father’s voice to get direction for ministry. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed. (Mark 1:35) Jesus was seeking guidance on what to do next. And his Father told him what to do. And He does the same thing for you as His child.
