Today you'll discover that God is in Control, so that whenever you are afraid, anxious or worried, you can have confidence in and put your trust and reliance in God....
show moreYou can praise His word, In God you can put my trust; do not not fear. What can flesh do to me? Psalms 56:3-4
You can call upon the Lord; the Lord will answer you me and set You free and in a safe place. The Lord is on your side; so you can say: I will not fear.
For God did give you a spirit of fear or anxious thougths or worries, but He has given you a spirit of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7
Yes, The Lord is on your side and takes your part, He is among those who help you; it is better to put your Trust in God than to put confidence in man.
Psalm 118:5-8
Anxiety (Worry) is a tool of the enemy to draw a person away from God with the purpose of fracturing or dividing or distracting their mind (a Firery Dart of the Enemy- Ephesians 6:16, which you use the shield of Faith to quench). This will be covered more in podcast.
First understand what anxiety is from God’s perspective, not man’s. The word is merimnáō in the Greek, it means to draw in different direction, to divided into parts, and to go to pieces..
The objective is to pull a person apart in different directions to cause concern over what God has in-birthed in them by His Holy Spirit, this is the force exerted by sinful anxiety (worry).
God says: Do Not Be Anxious about anything. Phillipians 4:6.
He says: Stop being perpetually uneasy anxious and worried about your life.
Matthew 6:25
Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying (Don’t Speak your Worry, Speak what God Says) Matthew 6:31
The reason is simple:
For your Father already knows what you need before you ask Him. Matthew 6:8
The Antidote for anxiety is Gratitude, Giving of Thanks for God’s Grace. For Jesus says to you: My Grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
II Corinthians 12:9-10
Then the Holy Spirit adds:
And God is able to make all grace, every favor and earthly blessing, come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.
2 Corinthians 9:8
My Words (truths) that I have spoken to you are Spirit and Life. For His Word comes from the Father Who Sent Him – for He is the Word of God That Became Flesh He Was with the Father from the Beginning. John 6:63, 1:1-4, 14
For the Word of God is alive and full of power, making it active, operative, energizing, and effective; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life, your you, and your immortal spirit, and the joints and marrow of the deepest parts of our nature, exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12
The Scriptures are the Word of God. The life-giving Holy Spirit breathes New Life in You through the Word of God.
Say what the word of God says out loud, on your knees. God says:
1. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6, 7). God invites you to come to Him with all your concerns and needs; He longs to help you find positive solutions to your problems.
2. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27). It’s no ordinary peace Jesus offers you, but a powerful peace that works to eclipse your fear and anxiety.
3. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5, 6). If you’re anxious over choices you must make, put your entire faith in the God of your life and He will steer you in the right direction.
4. “Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22). God wants you to lean on Him for support; He will carry all your burdens and keep you from slipping.
5. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful (Colossians 3:12-15). God will drive out your anxious thoughts and fill your heart and mind with peace when you focus on Him.
