It is the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, and when palm branches were placed in his path as he entered Jerusalem. So the King of Peace came into the City of Peace which is what Jerusalem means. Not 40 years after The King rode in Jerusalem it was destroyed by the Romans in AD 70.
