show moreSince their inception in 1986 their daily existence has been the stuff of legend, a constant reminder of the decadence of an era passed by but still very much a part of our musical life.
Jizzy himself has played with and in such recognizable outfits like RATT, LA Guns, Steven Adler and Quiet Riot, but always seems to be at his best when producing music in his own incarnation, Love/Hate.
With the recent release of the band’s latest album Hell, CA Jizzy joined HEAVY for a trip down memory lane and to discuss the new album.
"It's been good,” he enthused on the early reception. “People seem to like it. People seem to think the songs are strong. It's just a continuation of trying to stay good (laughs) in 2022. here's no scientific explanation, it's just trying to write good songs and good production. Just trying to keep the bar up."
In the full interview Jizzy runs through the album in more detail, talks about his love for AC/DC, writing a love ballad from a different point of view, the early days on the Sunset Strip and the birth of Love/Hate, what he gets out of his own project that he doesn’t from the more high profile bands he has played in, future plans and more.
