Scripture Texts are Exodus 2.1-10 and Exodus 15.19-21. The subject is “Just Do It!”
Today, I want to examine a female who just did it. She did not wait for someone to grant her permission to do what she felt the LORD called her to do. Perhaps we can glean a few key nuggets from her life.
1.Just do it by seeing the need and meeting the need. (Exo 2.4-8)
2.Just do it by operating in your calling. (Exo 15.19-21)
3.Just do it by leading from where you are. (Micah 6.1-4)
As we reflect on Women’s History month, think about Miriam, who saw the need and met the need, who operating in her calling, and who led from where she was. What need is God showing you today? What call has He placed on your life and are you operating in that calling? Will you lead from where you are today? You don’t need a title or a big stage to lead a needy soul to Jesus today.
Whatever the LORD is leading you to do, like Miriam, just do it! Happy Women’s History month. Or should I say happy her-story month?
