Kimberlee Singler, the Colorado Springs mother accused of killing two of her children earlier this month, was arrested Saturday in the United Kingdom.

The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed her arrest, noting it occurred without any complications. Further details are expected to be disclosed in an upcoming press conference, the date of which is yet to be announced.

The 35-year-old was the subject of a manhunt following the tragic events involving her 9-year-old daughter, 7-year-old son, and an attempt on the life of her 11-year-old daughter. The incident occurred on December 19, initially reported as a burglary. Medical attention was provided to her and her eldest daughter at their home on the day of the incident. She was last seen on December 23, leading to an arrest warrant issued on December 26. By December 29, authorities believed she had left the Colorado Springs area.

According to court documents, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) found no sufficient grounds to arrest Wentz during a prior incident and subsequently left the scene. The situation deteriorated when Singler did not bring the children to the CSPD Stetson Hills Substation as scheduled on December 16, 2023, and failed to show up.
