Da: På en mørk og regnfuld dag i hjertet af København, cyklede Lars.
En: On a dark and rainy day in the heart of Copenhagen, Lars was riding his bike.

Da: Han havde sin rød og hvide flagparaply åben over hovedet.
En: He had his red and white flag umbrella open over his head.

Da: Hans grå frakke var våd, men flagparaplyen holdt en del af regnen væk.
En: His gray coat was wet, but the flag umbrella kept some of the rain away.

Da: Lars var en venlig gammel mand.
En: Lars was a kind old man.

Da: Han elskede sin by, København.
En: He loved his city, Copenhagen.

Da: Selv på regnfulde dage som denne, smilede han.
En: Even on rainy days like this, he smiled.

Da: Han mødte mennesker på gaden, og de smilede også.
En: He met people on the street, and they smiled too.
