Is illegal immigration a problem in Kootenai County? Dan Wilson has been ahead of the "Norris Curve" for months by asking Norris in May of 2024 why he wasn't already part of the ICE 287(g) program. ICE 287(g) allows for a county sheriff to deputize local law enforcement to work alongside ICE agents for the deportation of illegal aliens in this county. Norris has not subscribed to this program and it was not until August of 2024 when asked on a livestream by Solicitor General of Idaho, Theo Wold if he would participate in this program.
