La Ruta Anzoátegui 2020 llegó al municipio Juan Antonio Sotillo, con la participación de la Vicepresidenta del Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela en la entidad, Yelitze Santaella, quien junto a la alcaldesa de la ciudad porteña, Herminia García, revisó el asfaltado del sector Monte Cristo, activó el plan "Puerto La Cruz bonita". Asimismo, inspeccionó la recuperación del parque deportivo "Miñoso Martínez " e hizo entrega de uniformes escolares.
