Hu: Budapest, a lüktető szív, melynek ritmusát a Duna kavargása szabja meg. A város, melyet a hídak szövete tart össze, térben és időben. Gábor, szerény, középkorú férfi, immár évek óta törzsvendége egy kávéháznak, mely a híres Andrassy úton található. Nála, több szokásával együtt, az egyik a legkülönlegesebb: megpróbálja elmagyarázni a magyar nyelvet az Újvilág hívének.
En: Budapest, the pulsating heart, whose rhythm is set by the swirling of the Danube. The city, held together by the fabric of bridges, in space and time. Gábor, a modest middle-aged man, has been a regular at a café located on the famous Andrassy Avenue for years. Among his several habits, one stands out as the most unique: he tries to explain the Hungarian language to a follower of the New World.

Hu: Ez a nap sem volt különböző a többi napjától. A városban lüktetett a reggeli forgatag, az emberek fel-alá szaladgáltak az utcákon, Gábor pedig leült kedvenc kávézójának asztalához, olasz eszpresszóval és a legfrissebb újsággal. Szeme sarkából észrevett egy lányt, a kávézó új vendégét. Ő volt Linda, az amerikai turista, aki először járt ezekben a tájékon.
En: This day was no different from any other. The morning bustle in the city was in full swing, people were running up and down the streets, and Gábor sat down at the table of his favorite café with an Italian espresso and the latest newspaper. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a girl, the café's new guest. She was Linda, the American tourist, who was visiting the area for the first time.

En: Gábor slowly opened up to the stranger, initiating the conversation, as he often did. After discussing the city and vacation topics, they eventually got to the Hungarian language. As Linda listened to the conversation in Hungarian, a smile appeared on her face. Gábor proposed they speak in Hungarian. Linda accepted the challenge, and thus began the simplest level of language lesson.

Hu: A helyzet nem volt könnyű sem Gábor, sem Linda számára. Magyarázni valamit egy teljesen elszigetelt nyelven, nem is beszélve a névmásokról, határozókról, igék változatos időszakairól, de Gábor tudta, hogy kitartónak kell lennie. En: The situation was not easy for either Gábor or Linda. Explaining something in a completely foreign language, not to mention pronouns, determiners, verbs in various tenses, but Gábor knew he had to be persistent. They spent more and more hours together, and Linda slowly began to pick up the rhythm, like the tinkling melody of the Danube.
