In 2018, Janet Fortune moved to Panama City Beach in the shadows of Hurricane Michael. As a new resident Janet found herself lost on her commute. That is, until she discovered Historic St. Andrews. In no time, she was performing regularly with Panama City Comedy and hosting a weekly comedy open mic at The Lie'brary on Beck. A winner of the Jackie Knight's Comedy Contest, she has been accepted into the Art of Female Comedy Festival in Denver, the New York Underground Comedy Festival, and the Mobile Comedy Festival.

Beginners and experienced comedians are welcome to perform at the comedy open mic at the Lie'brary on Beck every Wednesday.
