Episode 27

The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari wants to encourage you in not settling. Perhaps there was a time when you felt less than satisfied with where you were in life but failed to improve. Recognize why you have been unable to strive for the best and take the action needed to reach your dreams rather than staying where you currently are.

Listen in to our first caller, Lizzie, a hardworking student and employee who wants to know how to take breaks between school and work without feeling guilty. Nancy teaches Lizzie that replenishing oneself is a worthy task, but that it must be done with the intention to be productive afterwards. Nancy tells Lizzy to set thirty-minute time intervals for breaks and to plan activities throughout the day that are purposeful. This will prevent Lizzie from feeling overwhelmed or lazy.

Our second caller, Matthew, was recently cut from the basketball team and is unsure as to how to stay positive even when he encounters failures such as this. Nancy tells Matthew to take the initiative to find out why he was let go from the basketball team to discover what changes he needs to make to succeed in the future. Matthew can find the best method of communication to approach his fellow athletes and use their answer as an opportunity to grow and move forward.

Our inspirational guest is Shayla Logan, who has faced numerous unimaginable traumas such as being abused by her adoptive mother during her childhood and attempting suicide. Shayla made it through each adversity that she experienced by maintaining a sense of humor and avoiding taking life too seriously. Remaining resilient has allowed Shayla to bounce back even from the worst of tragedies. Shayla accepted that it is impossible to go back to who she was before each painful period of her life and was able to discover how to be the best version of herself with what she currently has.

Our last caller, Eddie, was initially addicted to several toxic habits and moved on to a time-consuming gaming addiction that leaves him feeling angry. Nancy instructs Eddie to turn his negative habit into a positive one by instead dedicating the same amount of time he spends on gaming with something else such as cooking or going to the gym. Eddie can visualize letting go of a great weight to rid himself of his harmful obsessions and have more control.

Maybe there was a time when you found yourself giving up on achieving your desires despite aiming for not settling. Perhaps you have felt less than others, and this sentiment keeps you from meeting challenges with motivation. Realize your potential to accomplish greatness beyond what you believe you are capable of. By trying your hardest to succeed and pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone, you can live full out.
