In this gift of an abbreviated episode, you'll hear how your personal strengths (and weaknesses) that vary greatly from your partner, can be the most frustrating, annoying, and devisive differences in the world if you let them!!  Brian and Jamie talk about how they overcame this trap, and have learned not to just tolerate their differences, but to actually value them.  They talk about how complete their different strengths become when seen as The ONE, not as individuals.

They also spoke about how powerful it was in their marriage when they recently wrote each other a "love letter," answering some prompts which brought out a lot of emotion, and brought back strong feelings of passion and compassion for one another.

Here are the prompts Brian listed for the letter:

Write about what your parents modeled for you regarding marriage and how that affected your expectations about marriage. Write about anything from your past that you believe had an impact on you, whether it was a tragedy or triumph, or both. What you remember about meeting your spouse and those first few years together. How you have been affected mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically in the marriage. Admit to any baggage you brought into the marriage and disclose if you believe you have successfully unpacked this baggage, or if you believe you still have some unpacking to do. Own how you have contributed to the dysfunction in the marriage. Write about the gifts and/or strengths you believe you bring to your marriage. Describe how you wish your marriage looked; what are your specific desires for your marriage
