The word "saved" in rhe Greek means more than merely being "forgiven." It is the word soteria, which is translated as "saved" or "salvation," which not only refers to deliverance from sin but also to being held safe and secure and healthy in the ultimate sense - healing, being made well or whole by and in Christ to the uttermost.
