Giorgio attends a colleague's wedding. While waiting outside the church, he meets Lucrezia again, who offers him a ride to the reception. When they arrive at the restaurant, they discover they have been seated together. Lucrezia reveals that she once knew a detective named De Giorgi, who helped her solve a mystery in Malta, unaware that Giorgio himself is that detective.
