Story Transcript:

Ro: Pe străzile aglomerate ale Bucureștiului, într-o zi însorită de primăvară, Andrei își luase inima în dinți să exploreze orașul.
En: On the crowded streets of Bucharest, on a sunny spring day, Andrei gathered up the courage to explore the city.

Ro: Cu harta în mână și un zâmbet larg pe față, el pasă hotărât printre clădirile înalte și magazinele colorate.
En: With a map in hand and a wide smile on his face, he strode confidently among the tall buildings and colorful shops.

Ro: "Ce zi minunată pentru o aventură!
En: "What a wonderful day for an adventure!"

Ro: " își spune el.

Ro: Rătăcind pe aleile orașului, Andrei ajunse la o piață rurală plină de viață, unde mirosul de mâncare proaspătă și sunetul vânzătorilor strigând ofertele zilei îl întâmpinară.

Ro: Inima lui bătea puternic când pășea printre caravanele colorate și bătrâni care vindeau tot felul de lucruri - de la fructe și legume proaspete, la obiecte vechi și haine strălucitoare.
En: His heart raced as he walked among the colorful caravans and old people selling all kinds of things - from fresh fruits and vegetables to old items and shiny clothes.

Ro: Andrei se simți încântat de diversitatea și bogăția în jurul său.
En: Andrei was delighted by the diversity and richness around him.

Ro: Însă, pe măsură ce se adâncea în inima pieței, realiză că simțul direcției îi juca feste.
En: However, as he ventured deeper into the heart of the market, he realized that his sense of direction was playing tricks on him.

Ro: La fiecare colț, fiecare strigăt îl făcea să se întoarcă și încet-încet simți că se rătăcea.
En: At every corner, each shout made him turn, and slowly he felt himself getting lost.

Ro: Tarabele începură să se repete, iar fețele oamenilor deveneau din ce în ce mai neclare.
En: The stalls started to repeat, and the faces of the people became increasingly blurred.

Ro: "Andrei, Andrei," se auzea un strigăt slab de la o băbuță lângă un coș plin de mere roșii.
En: "Andrei, Andrei," a faint voice came from an old lady next to a basket full of red apples.

Ro: "Te-ai rătăcit, băiatul meu?
En: "Have you lost your way, my boy?"

Ro: " întrebă ea cu un zâmbet șiret.
En: she asked with a sly smile.

Ro: Da, Andrei se pierduse în alaiul colorat, și acum privea spre băbuță în căutarea unui sfat.
En: Yes, Andrei had lost himself in the colorful parade, and now he looked to the old lady for advice.

Ro: "Cum pot să ies de aici?
En: "How can I get out of here?"

Ro: Băbuța râse blând și arătă spre un stâlp cu afișe și indicatoare vechi.
En: The old lady laughed gently and pointed to a post with old signs and indicators.

En: "All you need to do is to follow the signs.

Ro: Ele te vor duce la marginea pieței, iar acolo vei vedea drumul înapoi către centrul orașului.
En: They will lead you to the edge of the market, and there you will see the way back to the city center."

Ro: "Încurajat de sfatul ei, Andrei își reluă pasul, păstrându-și ochii pe semnele ruginite.
En: Encouraged by her advice, Andrei continued on, keeping his eyes on the rusty signs.

Ro: După câteva întorsături și multe treceri printre zâmbetele și strigătele vânzătorilor, el începu să recunoască clădirile - era pe drumul cel bun.
En: After a few twists and turns and many passes among the smiles and shouts of the vendors, he began to recognize the buildings - he was on the right track.

Ro: La marginea pieței, Andrei se opri pentru a arunca o privire înapoi spre labirintul din care tocmai scăpase.
En: At the edge of the market, Andrei stopped to look back at the labyrinth from which he had just escaped.

Ro: Inima îi era plină de gratitudine pentru experiența neașteptată și pentru băbuța care îl ajutase să-și găsească drumul.
En: His heart was filled with gratitude for the unexpected experience and for the old lady who had helped him find his way.

Ro: Cu pași siguri și un umăr mai ușor, Andrei se îndreptă înapoi spre centrul Bucureștiului.
En: With steady steps and a lighter shoulder, Andrei headed back to the center of Bucharest.

Ro: Orașul nu mai părea un loc înfricoșător, ci o carte deschisă, plină de povești și aventuri care așteptau să fie descoperite.
En: The city no longer seemed like a daunting place, but rather like an open book, full of stories and adventures waiting to be discovered.
