Fr: Une belle journée ensoleillée de printemps réchauffait Paris, la ville de l'amour et de la lumière.
En: On a beautiful sunny spring day, Paris, the city of love and light, was warming up.

Fr: Trois amis, Camille, Antoine, et Sophie, se baladaient gaiement dans les rues pavées, admirant la beauté de la ville.
En: Three friends, Camille, Antoine, and Sophie, were happily strolling through the cobbled streets, admiring the beauty of the city.

Fr: Camille, qui était un grand amateur de photographie, et son appareil, ne pouvaient se détacher de toutes ces merveilles.
En: Camille, who was a big photography enthusiast, and his camera, couldn't tear themselves away from all the wonders around them.

Fr: Antoine, grand gourmand, avait les yeux rivés sur les vitrines remplies de fromages et de chocolats.
En: Antoine, a big food lover, had his eyes fixed on the windows filled with cheeses and chocolates.

Fr: Quant à Sophie, son rêve était simple : elle voulait absolument voir la Tour Eiffel, ce grand symbole de Paris qu'elle n’avait vu que dans les films.
En: As for Sophie, her dream was simple: she absolutely wanted to see the Eiffel Tower, this great symbol of Paris that she had only seen in movies.

Fr: Cependant, au milieu de leurs plaisirs, ils réalisèrent qu'ils s'étaient perdus.
En: However, amidst their pleasures, they realized that they had gotten lost.

Fr: Les rues étroites et sinueuses de Paris s'étaient prises au piège de leur naïveté et les avaient égarés.
En: The narrow and winding streets of Paris had trapped them in their naivety and led them astray.

Fr: Ils cherchaient la Tour Eiffel mais tout ce qu’ils trouvaient était des boulangeries, une après l’autre.
En: They were looking for the Eiffel Tower but all they could find were bakeries, one after another.

Fr: Cependant, aucun d'entre eux ne savait parler français, même pour demander leur chemin.
En: However, none of them knew how to speak French, not even to ask for directions.

Fr: Finalement, ils entrèrent dans une petite boulangerie au coin d'une rue.
En: Finally, they entered a small bakery on a street corner.

Fr: Or, Antoine était ravi.
En: Antoine was delighted.

Fr: L'odeur fraîche du pain cuit envahissait leurs narines, ce qui apaisait leur déception de s'être perdus.
En: The fresh smell of baked bread filled their noses, soothing their disappointment at being lost.

Fr: La vieille dame a ri doucement et a pointé du doigt juste derrière eux.

Fr: Là, au-dessus des immeubles pittoresques, la pointe de la Tour Eiffel se faisait discrètement voir.
En: There, above the picturesque buildings, the tip of the Eiffel Tower could be discreetly seen.

Fr: Les trois amis étaient contents.
En: The three friends were happy.

Fr: Ils s'étaient perdus mais avaient trouvé plus que la Tour Eiffel.

Fr: Après tout, la tour Eiffel n'était qu'un bout de fer.
