Today’s topic is engaging with peers, aka making friends in treatment settings.   My guest is Samsung who has several years of mental health and eating disorder recovery.  She reflects on her experience where these kinds of friendships proved both beneficial and hurtful.  She offers insight on boundaries, communication and inevitably how to trust your family or community and your treatment team to support your recovery.  I’m continuously amazed by her overall recovery and her perspective and candidness - thanks for listening!
